According to an announcement released by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on October 9, Pingchang county was listed among the fourth group of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" innovation bases.

It is the only county in Sichuan province in this group. 

This title is among the most-recognized "national-track" ecological brands.
