On October 20, the awarding ceremony of the "National Double Support Model City (County)", which included a commending ceremony for role-model entities and individuals, was held in Beijing.

Four hundred and eleven cities and counties, including Bazhong, were named a "National Double Support Model City (County)". It is the second time Bazhong has taken this honor; the first was after its 2016 accreditation.
