Recently, the right hole of Huozhaya Tunnel was completed in more than 400 days.

Huozhaya Tunnel is the first medium-length tunnel in the second bid section of Micang Avenue, a key provincial project.

The Huozhaya Tunnel is located on the right bank of the Zhenzi River in Nuoshuihe town, Tongjiang county, Bazhong. It is a separate double-hole tunnel with a left line of 693 meters and a right line of 695 meters. The maximum buried depth of the tunnel is 125 meters.

Micang Avenue starts from Lianghekou town, Tongjiang county, and goes westwards through Linjiang, Nuoshuihe town and Tiechang River into Nanjiang county. It has a total length of 97 kilometers and an estimated total investment of 12.98 billion yuan ($1.94 billion).
