This year's festival adopts the method of "1+3+N", that is, 1 main venue + 3 scenic spot venues + N live broadcast of supporting activities, which aims to bring publicity and expand the influence of the festival, as well as enrich the experience of tourists through online and offline, multi-point interaction.
The main venue is located in Tieluba Square in Guangwu Mountain Tourist Area, and the three scenic spot venues are located in Yanziling, Daxiaolangou, and Eighteen Moon Lake.
An exhibition on the history of the Guangwu Mountain Red Leaf Festival was also held at the opening ceremony, displaying images, videos and exquisite photos of the previous 19 festivals.
Covering 830 square kilometers, Guangwu Mountain Scenic Area boasts an extraordinary landscape of ridges and peaks, lush vegetation, enchanting waterfalls and stunning canyons; it is home to the unique historical Ba culture that influenced regions throughout Southwest China, as well as the culture of the Micang Ancient Road (a road connecting southwestern Shaanxi province to Sichuan province) and the Three Kingdoms (220-280).

Every autumn, the mountain is dyed red, and its trees and leaves are lauded by plant specialists and ecologists from home and abroad. The vegetation of the Guangwu Mountain also enjoys the reputation of "the longest red carpet in Asia", and is dubbed China’s No.1 mountain with colorful leaves.
In recent years, Bazhong has developed a high-quality cultural and tourism economy, accelerated the construction of an international leisure and vacation tourism destination, and established itself as a healthy and blessed land in inland China, creating the core growth of the city's green economy.
The red leaf festival will last until mid-November.
