The main line of the Hanba South Railway from Nanchong to Bazhong spans 148.04 kilometers and has been designed for a maximum operating speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
The project is located in the northeastern part of Sichuan province. Starting from Nanchong North Station on the Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway, it passes through Nanchong city’s Shunqing district, Peng'an county, Nanbu county, Yilong county and Bazhong city’s Enyang district, Bazhou district, and the economic development zone , and finally connects to Bazhong East Station. The entire line includes the construction of five new stations: Bazhong East Station, Bazhong West Station, Ma'an Station, Yilong Station, and Peng'an West Station.
The installation of contact wires is one of the key processes in high-speed railway construction. It is an important part of the traction power supply system and the most crucial link for ensuring the operation safety of high-speed trains. To ensure the smooth completion of the contact wire installation work, China Railway Chengdu Group Co., LTD organizes specialized and competent forces from the power supply department to participate in various important aspects, including construction quality, safety control, and material inspection and acceptance.
Currently, the construction of various specialized disciplines such as track maintenance, electrical engineering, power supply, and signaling is proceeding in an orderly manner, with early involvement in the project.
After the completion and opening of the Nanchong to Bazhong section of the Hanba South Railway, it will play a significant role in promoting the integration of the northeastern part of Sichuan province into the national high-speed rail network, continuously improving the intercity railway network in the Chengdu-Chongqing region, and further accelerating economic and social development in the northeastern part of Sichuan province.
