The 3rd rapeseed flower festival in Enyang district, Bazhong, recently commenced in Haishan village in Liulin town.

The festival opened with a vibrant display of local cultural performances, including traditional song and dance, Sichuan opera, and other regional spectacles, captivating both on-site and online audiences with an enthralling audiovisual extravaganza.

Enyang district has seen its rapeseed cultivation reach 250,000 mu (approximately 16,667 hectares) this year, spanning five ten-thousand-mu rapeseed garden areas in Haishan, Xiasu, Chengcheng, and Changling. 

The festival venue's core area boasts 15,000 mu of rapeseed, establishing it as a 4-star high-quality grain and oil modern industrial park in Sichuan province.

In recent years, events such as the Enyang rapeseed flower festival, dragon boat races, and the "New Year in Enyang" festival have significantly impacted the local economy. In 2023, the district welcomed a total of 6.93 million tourists, resulting in a comprehensive tourism income of 6.11 billion yuan ($92 million).

This year's rapeseed flower festival is set to continue until early April, integrating elements of ecological tourism, folk customs experiences, agricultural exhibitions, and leisure activities, offering visitors a rich and comprehensive agricultural, cultural, and commercial experience.
