The 110th China Food&Drinks Fair is set to open in Chengdu, Sichuan province, on March 20.

Seizing the opportunity presented by the fair, Bazhong held a promotional event in Chengdu on March 18, inviting consumers with a combination of "scenic beauty + fine wine."

Bazhong focused on promoting its local advantages, including its mountainous scenic resources, distinctive alcoholic products and the concept of the northeastern Sichuan liquor-producing region.

During the event, complimentary tickets to the 5A-rated national tourist attraction in Bazhong, Guangwu Mountain Scenic Area, were distributed to attendees. Representatives of Bazhong's renowned liquor company, Jiangkouchun, signed agreements with overseas and domestic agents and distributors. Additionally, Yang Liu, the executive vice-president of the China Liquor Academy and a professor at the Management School of Sichuan University of Science & Engineering, delivered a keynote speech on the development suggestions for the distinctive liquor-producing region of northeastern Sichuan.

From a natural perspective, Bazhong boasts excellent ecological conditions and abundant resources, earning it the reputation of being an important genetic repository for organisms on the northern edge of the Sichuan Basin. It is also a region known for its high-quality, selenium-rich green tea, as well as for producing specialty products such as Nanjiang walnuts, Tongjiang silver ear mushrooms, Nanjiang yellow sheep and Qingyu pigs.

Bazhong has expressed its commitment to leveraging its natural beauty, cultural heritage, and ecological endowments, making full use of platforms such as the China Food&Drinks Fair to further promote the integrated development of cultural tourism industry.

The China Food&Drinks Fair, often referred to as the "barometer" of the Chinese food industry, originated in 1955 and is one of the oldest and most prestigious large-scale professional exhibitions in China.
